The Feather River Chapter of Trout Unlimited

Caring for and recovering California’s rivers and the trout, steelhead, and salmon that call them home

SEE OUR IMPACT!

From the Little Truckee River to the Yuba and Feather Rivers and beyond, the Feather River Chapter of Trout Unlimited brings people together to care for and recover their waters through local conservation and community science projects. We are making our trout, steelhead, and salmon populations stronger, our water cleaner, and our communities healthier.

JOIN US LOCALLY!

The Feather River Chapter is based here in Northern California and holds a range of fun, free, and family-friendly events and activities. Whether you swing by a social event or presentation, spend time on the water fishing with us, or get your hands dirty volunteering on a local project, all are welcome!

SUPPORT OUR WORK!

Whether you become a member, make a donation, sign up for an event, or volunteer to help the chapter succeed, the Feather River Chapter counts on people like you who care about conservation to make a difference for our rivers close to home and across the country!

A LOCAL COMMUNITY OF CONSERVATIONISTS!

When you take part in Feather River Chapter activities, you are helping drive conservation of Northern California’s rivers and streams. The same rivers that sustain trout, steelhead, and salmon bring clean water into our homes, give life to vibrant communities, and feed a passion for the outdoors.

Our rivers and our fisheries face enormous challenges. At Trout Unlimited, we are doing something about it.

Working together as volunteers and with TU staff and partners in our Priority Waters, we advocate for our rivers, restore our stream habitat, plant native trees, help connect kids to the outdoors, and so much more.

We are a community of optimists who have a ton of fun along the way. Whether you are passionate about wild and native fish, inspired by the wonder of our rivers, or dedicated to clean water, we invite you to be a part of our mission. Be a champion for the rivers we all love and help us unlock the unlimited power of conservation.
