Feather River College forms new Fly Fishing Club

Feather River TU assisted the newly-formed Feather River College Fly Fishing Club with a
fishing trip to Bucks Lake on September 28, where kokanee salmon are staging at inlets and moving into tributaries to spawn. A steady breeze riffled the surface, providing an opportunity to practice casting in the wind. One intrepid student even swam after (and recovered) a detached strike indicator! The club looks forward to exciting fishing in the future.
